I contacted AcutePet Urgent Care in the evening because I was concerned that my kitty might be blocked — I hadn’t seen any signs of urination in 24 hours. The person who answered my call said to bring him immediately, they would fit him in. When I arrived, they triaged him without delay. The staff assigned a room for me to wait in and, shortly after I had arrived, the nurse came into the room with my sweet boy, Roo. She said his bladder was normal, small with no — or very little — urine. Not blocked. She and the AcutePet Urgent Care staff were wonderful from the initial call through the entire visit. Forever grateful for this experience and the immediate attention given to my beautiful boy.

Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We brought one of our pups in close to close for an emergency and they took the best care of her as she would let them. They kept us up to date with everything as they were making sure our dog was taken care of. Our pup prefers to be with her people when things are being done and the staff had no issues coming into the room with us to provide our pup with the shots she needed. Pricing was better than anyone we called around to within an hour radius. If they offered regular veterinary care, we would have made the change. 10/10 recommend these folks for any emergency vet services you would need!

Can’t be more thankful to the wonderful staff at AcutePet UC. The vet techs/nurses were very attentive to my concerns for my pup and took their time assessing our situation. They understood her anxiety and did all in one assessment/vitals. Thankful for that. Dr. Handler, I can’t thank him enough for taking the time to do a thorough assessment and history of my pups problems. He had a good plan in place and luckily we went home and within hours my pup was relaxed and relieved of her pain. He took the time to explain what was happening to her, and it wasn’t easy to hear. But I felt like we left with the right treatment. So thank you to the staff for your kind heart and patience. Having an acute UC is a very much needed source especially when our pets aren’t feeling the best. Much love, Hana

The staff was very caring and polite, especially considering how stressful these visits can be. I initially brought my puppy in for a parvo test, which came back negative. When I returned the following day, they did not retest due to the circumstances but provided medication and guidance.
