It was a Sunday evening and we made the choice to put our 18 yr old chihuahua Mazy to sleep. She was rapidly declining throughout the day. I called and was told to bring her to the office. Everyone there was so nice and compassionate during this difficult time. We were reassured that we made the right choice. I would definitely recommend the Summerville office if you need emergency pet care.

The urgent care staff was very kind, caring, and very knowledgeable. Our dog was in respiratory distress when we arrived. She had lymphoma and Cushing disease and was receiving palliative care. However, they were so kind and helpful during the difficult time of saying good bye. They made sure we knew what to expect and our options for after with her remains and let us choose keepsakes. While I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone they were very wonderful during our visit. We appreciate the care they took with us and our dog.

Same day appointment, got in with minimal waiting. They were able to do X-rays without anesthesia and got results within hour. Staff was pleasant and vet was reassuring.

Came in urgently for my kitten who managed to get a fish hook in her paw. (My regular vets office did not have a doc available for several more hours) But they referred me to AcutePet. The front desk person (Key msp?) was wonderful. Very pleasant and helpful. Docs & nurses dealt with the situation professionally and quickly. I am pleased with their care & followup. Appreciate them taking us in as walk in and getting us back and worked in.

My dog was experiencing vomiting and bloody diarrhea I was extremely pleased with the care she received everyone from the receptionist the vet tech and the doctor were so caring and administered excellent care to her I highly recommend this facility

We had to take our cat in the other night with an urgent situation. What we found was an extremely informative, and caring veterinary practice. Dr Torres and Kayla spent a lot of time thoroughly examining and treating, and then explaining in detail their findings. They also followed up after the visit. For everything they did, and all the time they took, we thought the price was very reasonable when we checked out with the very nice lady at the front desk.

Cannot say enough good things about the staff here. I’m in operations and healthcare and they have a great system of communication, care, and a down to earth honesty and understanding that I have yet to see anywhere else even for my own personal healthcare. They will be the first place we go in the future, these pet emergencies are very hard to deal with and they really partner with you and give you the whole picture. Any one that doubts this review…this was a visit with a 8 month old female orange tabby…spicy as hell on a good day and they survived her being in the back with them multiple times for multiple hours over multiple days! HUGE thanks to the teams we worked with both yesterday and today, we are extremely grateful!
