I have a very grumpy orange cat who was not happy to be at the vet. Despite his complaints, the staff were very accommodating and understanding. It took two rounds of sedation for him to be okay with treatment, and they were so brave, patient, and kind with him despite him being so difficult. While he was in treatment, they checked in with us multiple times and gave many updates. They explained the processes thoroughly and answered all of our questions, even ones that were probably simple. They followed up with us in the next few days to make sure my kitty was ok. I’m so grateful that they were so willing to handle my problem child and gave me such peace of mind through the process. Definitely reccomend this team for troublesome pets! They can handle it and will be so helpful.

Everyone at acute was absolutely wonderful and so accommodating to my sweet boy and I. They truly have nothing but love and pureness for all the furry friends that walk in.

Our dog had an allergic reaction to something unknown, we took her to AcutePet Urgent Care and they got us in immediately. Dr Powers was very thorough, took the time to answer all of our questions, and they took great care of our golden. Hopefully we won’t have to return, but if for any reason we do, I feel very comfortable knowing they are close by.

Acute care Mount Pleasant is the best place for any after hours issues involving your pets. I have been there several times. I have always been so impressed with the knowledge, care and treatment not just of my pets, but also how the staff treats me. Highly recommend and can’t say enough positive things about the staff!

The team at urgent pet did a wonderful job with my dog on a Sunday evening when my normal vet was closed. I would highly recommend take your pet here for any emergent needs before visiting one of the bigger emergency clinics in the area.

Dr. Chris Powers and staff were amazing to Camden! They remembered from a previous visit and make us feel at home! He was thorough, knowledgeable and caring. Their prices are lower than the local emergency hospital too! You can book online or walk-in. I highly recommend this practice to everyone! Thank you Dr. Powers!

As a vet tech myself, I am quite particular about where my babies go! I called in and noted that I may have to come in if I couldn’t get in with my regular vet (abscess) last night. The staff was so compassionate, professional, and really cared about Sparta even though they had never met him! They even wanted to call in the morning to make sure he was ok, and they did! They called and were SO kind, making sure I got in with my vet and letting me know they were there for me if not. I did end up getting in with my primary vet, but the experience alone with the front desk solidified for me that this will be the only Urgent Care I take my pets to from now on. It’s so nice to know that if I should need it, I have an amazingly empathetic and talented team just a few miles away. Keep on being amazing- this worried cat mom appreciates you all more than you know!! Update as of 2/26: We had to bring our Bella in, making this the third cat AcutePet has now discussed and helped us with. When we needed them, they were there. When we couldn’t afford referral to ER, they were there and gave other options. Bella’s home and bright, alert, and eating. It isn’t permanent but they saved our baby today and gave her a better QOL and me a better picture of her health. Dr Powers and Nicole are second to none, absolutely top notch at what they do. “The Pitt” esque doctor and nurses, truly!! 💕🐾
