Our cat had been declining for a while, but it became clear over the holiday that it was time for end-of-life care. The entire staff here was so friendly and compassionate, from the front desk to the techs to the doctor. They made a tough day a little easier on our family. We definitely recommend them for any pet care, urgent or not.

Whether you need urgent care or just a check-up – GO HERE! I was in town with my dog for a holiday weekend and ended up needing urgent medical care for her. I couldn’t be more thankful for the care, guidance, and support provided by the AcutePet team in Mt. Pleasant. They were incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable, taking the time to understand our history (of joint and arthritis issues) to help assess current challenges. If I lived in the Charleston area, this staff would immediately become my go-to team. Cannot thank them enough!!!

We had our 14 year old dog put down Mothers day of 2025. It was on a Sunday and not planned. She got really sick due to an infection swiftly. I believe they just opened a week or 2 before. Arnold Torres and the team were so patient kind and understanding. I was on the fence of having her laid to rest. Torres took the time to thoroughly go over what she was going through, how her infection was affecting her and could in the future due to her age. Deep down I knew it was her time but didnt want to let her go. He really gave me the info I needed to hear and the reassurance I was doing the right thing. They were also patient with us on spending time with her and talked us through every single step thoroughly as it was happening. We will go back with our next one. Also pricing was REALLY reasonable. We thought because its urgent care we were going to spend $700-$1000. It was much less. Same as most vets charge, but this wasnt planned. They were also very sensitive and sent us a card. I also give the creamation company they recommended 5 stars. They were reasonable, generous and delivered her to us after all. Thank you all so much. I should have posted a long time ago. It was a ruff year.

We took our cat here about 2 weeks ago now as he was being super out of the ordinary and having some bathroom issues, and I was beginning to worry that he may have had a bowel obstruction. The vet was funny and personable, as with the rest of the staff! I was honestly so nervous to bring him to any vet really because he’s our baby, but they were all so wonderful to him and us, they really put my husband and I at ease to leave him in their care! They got him fixed up and he’s been so much better since then. Thank you guys! You guys are so very appreciated ❤️

Very clean and very quick to be seen. Doctor Brownfield and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

After more than 30 years of animal rescue, I feel like I’ve found an urgent care that understands affordability and efficiency. We had to put down a 16 year old after a sudden turn of health. The staff was so kind and accommodating.
