This is where you want to take your pet. You’ll probably be there a while, but that’s because they pay the necessary attention to every pet who comes in. My cat Lydia was having respiratory problems. Dr. Handler examined her very thoroughly and prescribed the needed meds, along with detailed instructions for how to administer them and how to proceed with her long-term care. Yes, it entailed a fair chunk of money, but Kate hooked me up with a six-month interest-free payment plan. The staff in general is friendly and competent and display genuine compassion for both the pets and their “parents.”
I can’t say enough good things about this place. My ~16 year old cat had a sudden health decline. After discussing the options and possible prognosis we decided euthanasia was the best option. Being a single cat dad, these folks helped me make an although tough decision, the right one. They are professional, kind and compassionate and I appreciate them all. Rest in peace Fluff.
would highly recommend soo good with my dogs and they make you feel comfortable and try to let you know the costs and won’t do more than is needed !!
My wife and I have been to this location 3 times, twice with my cat Oatmeal, and once with a stray kitten. The professionalism of the staff is great, they’re very caring and thoughtful with you and your pets, and they don’t try to upsell you on anything you don’t need. Same day appointments are great for when something goes wrong and you don’t have time to make it to your traditional vet, and even considering the flexibility and availability of appointments, the pricing is fair (only slightly more expensive than our typical vet) which is great. Thank you all for the work you’re doing! ❤️
One of my cats became very ill and I could not get into my regular vet for several days. I planned on taking him into the emergency room and when looking up the number I found the number for AcutePet. It was the best decision to make an appointment here. They treated my cat, Clifford, with such care and compassion and did everything the could to save him. Dr. Ken took his time and explained everything to me. He is an amazing vet. Unfortunately in the end, he could not be saved but they took such good care of us even during one of the most difficult decsions of my life. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I know in the future where I’m taking my pets.
The entire staff at AcutePet Urgent Care were considerate, helpful and attended to every concern and need. Like their name, they got our appointment scheduled same day and were ready when we arrived. They explained everything, sent us home with the right support, and followed up several times to make sure everything was OK. No doubt this will be our second line of defense behind our regular vet.

My little guy was experiencing a pretty nasty ear infection with swelling the other day. We were seen almost 40 minutes ahead of our scheduled appointment and taken very good care of by the entire staff. Start to finish just under 2 hours. Warm, welcoming, and very informative/transparent throughout the whole process. Can definitely tell the staff loves their jobs and their patients. Obviously an urgent care visit is more expensive than a typical vet but still WAY cheaper than the emergency. A little under $400 for all the services, tests, and medications. Still hurt my wallet but well worth it.

Our cat got into a fight a month ago. Last week he developed a large abscess on his forehead that was bleeding. I couldn’t get an appointment for our vet for five days. We went to Acute Pet last Wednesday and they were amazing. The abscess was cleaned up, given meds and we received instructions on how to care for the wound. It’s been a week now and our cat is as happy as can be
They had a time slot when we needed it for our dog Bear, were pretty prompt by urgent care standards on seeing and diagnosing what the issue was, and referring us to a location for emergency surgery that was both affordable and also able to perform lifesaving procedures on our dog the same day. The nurses and doctor there were gentle caring & kind to Bear as well, they gave us a follow-up call the day after our late-night visit to see how he was doing. Without pet insurance, bloodwork x-rays the assessment and some meds to help Bear out was about $1k, which feels reasonably priced for urgent care needs. Beyond quality and cost of care it was a nice enough spot to be a couple hours, complimentary drinks a clean bathroom and good vibes overall. Wish I didn’t have to go in the first place, but next time I’ve gotta take a pet for urgent help I’ll most likely be going here.
