I brought my girl in last week to be checked out for some concerns with her breathing. I was given heartbreaking news, that I was not prepared for. The doctors and staff were compassionate, and provided the best care to my baby, and to prepare us for the next steps my husband and I had to make… During this difficult time, and the decisions made, the doctors and staff were beyond caring. I highly recommend taking your pet here if you have any concerns, or emergencies.

My wife and I have been to this location 3 times, twice with my cat Oatmeal, and once with a stray kitten. The professionalism of the staff is great, they’re very caring and thoughtful with you and your pets, and they don’t try to upsell you on anything you don’t need. Same day appointments are great for when something goes wrong and you don’t have time to make it to your traditional vet, and even considering the flexibility and availability of appointments, the pricing is fair (only slightly more expensive than our typical vet) which is great. Very pleased with the care and treatment they gave to my Roxie.

One of my cats became very ill and I could not get into my regular vet for several days. I planned on taking him into the emergency room and when looking up the number I found the number for AcutePet. It was the best decision to make an appointment here. They treated my cat, Clifford, with such care and compassion and did everything the could to save him. Dr. Ken took his time and explained everything to me. He is an amazing vet. Unfortunately in the end, he could not be saved but they took such good care of us even during one of the most difficult decsions of my life. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I know in the future where I’m taking my pets.

The entire staff at AcutePet Urgent Care were considerate, helpful and attended to every concern and need. Like their name, they got our appointment scheduled same day and were ready when we arrived. They explained everything, sent us home with the right support, and followed up several times to make sure everything was OK. No doubt this will be our second line of defense behind our regular vet.

I’m not sure I have words to describe how wonderful this place is, and how lucky we are to have you in Summerville. From the start- the facility is so clean and pleasant. Well cared for in every way. Second, the staff are fantastic, caring, and compassionate. Some vets I have been to jump to accusations toward the pet parent, and I get it. I really do. They see plenty of terrible pet parents, but I am a responsible pet owner who was very worried about her sweet cat (Ruby). They were also very thorough, possibly spotting an issue our regular vet may have missed. They made a follow up call the next day to check on Ruby, and were very professional in every interaction. Do not hesitate to take your fur babies here if they’re having an emergent medical issue.

My little guy was experiencing a pretty nasty ear infection with swelling the other day. We were seen almost 40 minutes ahead of our scheduled appointment and taken very good care of by the entire staff. Start to finish just under 2 hours. Warm, welcoming, and very informative/transparent throughout the whole process. Can definitely tell the staff loves their jobs and their patients. Obviously an urgent care visit is more expensive than a typical vet but still WAY cheaper than the emergency. A little under $400 for all the services, tests, and medications. Still hurt my wallet but well worth it.

My chocolate lab Remington had eaten persimmons and was stung repeatedly by what we think were hornets. Dr. Brooks and her staff were compassionate and diligent with their care. They treated Remington and gave me excellent follow up education for future events and how to administer medication. Five stars.
