I was very happy with this vet’s urgent care services during the care of my 13 week puppy Bodhi. Two things really stood for me. 1. I was on a strict budget and they were compassionate about that in regards to helping me explore the best options for his care and helped me go over all the pricing to determine what was best route for us. (Also I made calls and their visit was $10 less then MedVet) 2. They really took a lot of time to answer all of my questions, and I know I had a lot of them! I hope that I never see that place again honestly! However….if I’m in an urgent needs situation with my pet I would 100 percent not hesitate to use their services again!

We were a walk in on Sunday morning with our cat who woke up with a pretty severe UTI. They took us right away and were not only extremely professional but very compassionate. The doctor recommended immediate and follow up choices and listed them out by price, giving us educated choices. So friendly! Highly recommend.

Finally, a vet service with extended hours for emergency visits that doesn’t charge ridiculously high fees for service! Everyone was great, I even got a follow up call to see how things were going. The only thing that would make this better would be a 24/7 service.

I called to inquire about euthanasia. I had called several places prior. I was very emotional talking with Bailey. She was so understanding and answered all my questions. When I took in my sweet 15 yo kitty the next morning I was met with 2 ladies (one being Bailey) I got immediate attention. The clinic was very clean & organized. The hours, 10-10 daily, even that Sunday morning was perfect. My regular vet is closed all weekends. The price for the services I needed was hundreds less than other places I had called. AcutePets is more like an urgent care. You pet/s are in good, compassionate hands at AcutePets.

Not only was the facility clean and up to date the staff was amazing and were able to get me in quickly when i needed help for my dog. They were thorough and transparent throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend this location if your in need of assistance especially on the weekends.

I had a really great experience at AcutePet in West Chester. Easy to schedule an immediate appointment, the space was clean, and the staff were kind to me and my dog and very knowledgeable. They were clear in their instructions on how to treat her issue and how/when to follow up if the issue doesn’t resolve. Reasonably priced for the service as well. My only complaint was the length of the appointment (about 90 minutes total) with the wait time but honestly, it was not unreasonable for an urgent care setting. I would definitely recommend for an immediate appointment for pet health needs if unable to see your vet.

I’ve been to many emergency and non-emergency vets in the past, and my experience with AcutePet absolutely blew me away!!!! This review is going to be a long one, but there were so many positive aspects of my experience that I want to specifically commend them on and share with others. My cat needed to be seen for a same day visit but my primary vet was booked so I searched online and discovered AcutePet near me. I booked an appointment online (which allowed me to share my primary vet’s name and the reasons for my visit) and had my choice of several time slots for that day. The facility was very clean and welcoming and all of the staff were kind and professional. I was taken back to the exam room immediately upon my arrival. Before I started to give history to the vet tech, she told me that they had already reached out to my cat’s primary vet and obtained records of my recent visit to the vet for this issue. I have NEVER had a vet do this and was SO impressed by this step alone!!! The vet tech was very thorough in continuing to gather additional details and documented all of this. She then asked a question which really impressed me: what was my goal for today’s visit? After this, she reviewed the recommended testing and gave me a price quote before proceeding with anything. Prices were higher than a normal vet but definitely lower than emergency vets that I’ve been too. Tests were completed and the doctor (Dr. Midkiff) came back with the tech to review results thoroughly. They were both so patient with their explanations and openness to answer my questions. Part of our plan was to follow up with a specialist (veterinary oncology- nothing unreasonable given the circumstances) and they offered to send the records from our visit to this specialist to ensure continuity of care. They also offered to prescribe sufficient medications to help my cat until the time of the appointment with oncology. When I got home, I got an email with discharge instructions and an educational PDF about the issue discovered with my cat during the visit. This same issue had been found 2 weeks prior with my primary vet but I got WAY more information from AcutePet which helped me to feel so much more confident in a plan. Later in the evening after my appointment, I got a call directly from Dr. Midkiff who said that “the more that I thought about my cat and her case” she had some additional thoughts and recommendations for my cat that she wanted to pass along. This was amazing- she had already been paid for her work during my visit but she went above and beyond to reach out afterwards purely in the interest of my cat. The following day, I got a call from AcutePet to check in on how my cat was doing. I told them about the side effects that she was having from the medicine she was given and I heard back from AcutePet with two different options for treatment to address these side effects. It’s incredibly clear that Dr. Midkiff and the rest of the staff at AcutePet are genuinely interested in helping pets and their owners to the best of their ability. If I could see Dr. Midkiff as my primary vet, I would do it in a heartbeat. I will be recommending AcutePet to everyone that I can and they will be my first choice for urgent or emergency pet care in the future. THANK YOU for such a wonderful experience!!!!

We had to visit to put down our 15 year old cat. Our kids were heartbroken and so were we. They were compassionate and wonderful people. They made a very sad day less so. Highly recommend.

Good experience, I will take my pets there from now for their urgent care needs.

Came in with an emergency, my diabetic cat bottomed out and had a seizure. They immediately took her back and started treating her, the vet was very thorough with everything and the staff was awesome. They took excellent care of my girl! Definitely would recommend to others
