Received the appropriate attention for my cat. I was referred by my vet as an emergency vet. Was surprised to see an animal owner sit in the waiting room over an hour while those with “appointments “ were seen first. Doesn’t seem to be an emergency vet after all.

On July 16, 2026 we took our beloved, Cookie (14-year-old Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix with a brain tumor diagnosed 10 months ago), into AcutePet Urgent Care, for difficulty breathing, she was seen immediately and assessed. Cookie was put in an oxygen kennel with a temperature of 105. Veterinarian spoke with my husband and I about her condition and was very honest with us about how critical she was. Vet also revealed that since Cookie had that high of a temperature, it was certain she had an infection somewhere. Vet revealed that due to the crackling in her lungs, the vet could not hear Cookie’s heart. Veterinarian also shared that IF they could get Cookie stabilized, there was a very good chance she would have to be hospitalized and not come home at all. The veterinarian left the decision up to us whether or not to euthanize her. Having all of those factors and the fact that Cookie was having such a hard time breathing and looked like she was in so much pain, we made the extremely difficult decision to euthanize her. The entire staff was very understanding, courteous, and kind to us and that made the entire experience a little better. Thank you!

Our dog was experiencing bloody digestive issues – over the weekend of course! We scheduled a Sunday morning visit and were highly impressed by all of the staff. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The vet tech was very knowledgeable and spent time with us answering questions about after care. Dr. Hanson was wonderful in his care of our dog Wesley. He did not try to upsell us on testing that would not help with a diagnosis. We appreciate his practical approach to caring for Wesley and the care plan he put in place helped our dog feel so much better and also put our minds at ease. They even called the next day to check on Wesley. We hope we never need urgent care for our dogs again. If we do, I know who I’m going to call.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience here. My corgi cracked a tooth on a Friday night and I wanted to make sure it was not an emergency and how to keep her comfortable over the weekend until we could get into our vet for a dental. Booking an appointment online was super easy, which I appreciated. Front desk staff was friendly and we were seen promptly at our appointment time. Shelby, our vet tech, was so kind and sweet with Murphy. She recognized she was stressed and did all she could to calm her down and make her comfortable. Dr. Hansen was fantastic, explaining everything in detail and answering all my questions. Shelby and Dr. Hansen both spent time trying to get us follow up appointments with vet dentists, which was above and beyond. The cost for the exam and meds was very reasonable, definitely better than an emergency vet and comparable to our normal vet. On top of all this, Shelby and Dr. Hansen called us that evening to check up and make sure we didn’t need more help with appointments. I am so appreciative of the care and the stress free visit. Don’t hesitate to go here for any emergency pet care needs.

Making this phone call to schedule an appointment to put my fur baby down was one of the hardest things I had to do. The Receptionist was Amazing and Calming. Once we got there everyone was amazing answered all our questions, Gave us all the time we needed with our Dexter Boy before laying him to rest. They Gave us Paw prints and Nose prints at no charge. Our Babyboy is at peace at my dad’s where we can visit him. Thank you all for making such a sad and hard day feel cared about.
