It was so easy to get a same-day appointment. I really appreciate the online scheduling. I was seeing very promptly, They showed compassion and listen to everything. I told them. I was very happy with the outcome and they did not push anything on me And without judgment. They provided a very reasonable treatment plan and called the next day to find out how my little buddy was doing.

I highly recommend this urgent care. We brought our 11-year-old cat, Lola, in when she was very sick, and we were seen quickly. The entire staff was incredibly kind and compassionate during a very stressful time. What really stood out was Dr. Kloepfer’s thoroughness and deep knowledge, specifically regarding FIP, a complex virus that a lot of vets are unfortunately not very knowledgeable about. Unlike other vets we had seen, Dr. Kloepfer didn’t just dismiss Lola’s symptoms because of her older age. She honestly acknowledged that her age could definitely point to other issues, but she never disregarded this specific virus as the underlying cause. Other vets previously dismissed my 11-year-old cat’s symptoms due to her age, or just wanted to do “trial and error” and push us toward thousands of dollars in specialist fees. Dr. Kloepfer didn’t do that. She focused on finding the actual root problem. She took her time explaining the diagnosis and treatment plan in detail, and the clinic made sure to discuss all pricing with us before moving forward. Because of their dedication and accurate diagnosis, we finally have answers, and Lola is already making improvements. We are so grateful!

Our 15 year old Yorkie has had some breathing problems over the past year. It was mostly when she drank water, but didn’t get worse until yesterday. We went into Petco and they thought she needed oxygen (which she did) so they sent us to “Med Vet” in Westchester. It’s like the Taj Majal of emergency vets. First of all a HUGE amount of construction going on outside and then ladders and construction going on INSIDE. They wanted $210 just for the initial consultation and then couldn’t give us a general idea how much after that. So I told the vet tech to give me a few minutes and we would decide. In the meantime I can’t think as construction workers all over the lobby at noon? So I did a quick search as I hadn’t before I got there. Their reviews are exactly what I assumed. We the public are paying for this palace and the service didn’t equate to the insane prices. So I luckily continued my search and found “AcutePet” only 5 minutes away. Called and Shana answered my questions and the initial exam was a LOT cheaper also. Told them to give us our dog back and left. AcutePet was clean and got us in ASAP. The vet Dr. Hanson analyzed her and then came in and explained exactly what was going on with her and what procedures/meds would help her as her breathing was not good. They kept her for a few hours and gave her oxygen, some antibiotics and some heart meds. It’s over 24 hours later and our little girl is doing even better than she was weeks/months ago. She needed to get on heart meds and she is doing FANTASTIC. So we would like to thank Dr. Hanson, Shana and Lindsay for making our stressful day a LOT better. We aren’t/weren’t expecting miracles yesterday as our dog is 15. But they improved her quality of life and extended it also! We would highly recommend this Urgent Care and we will be bringing our other pets here in the future. Lastly, the pricing was over 50% cheaper than we expected and we KNOW it was 75-150% cheaper than MedVet. Great job by your entire team!

I contacted them Sunday after noticing my my dog Nix had some unusual discharge the night before and had to urinate more frequently over the weekend-having a couple accidents inside, which never happens. I was also a bit concerned about pyo since she had just gone through her first heat cycle the month before. They were able to get her right in to run a urine sample that she kindly left on the exam room floor *sorry* and take xrays. Thankfully no Pyo but they found a large surprise bonus rock on the x rays! So they were able to induce vomiting and steal her prized rock back from her stomach and give her meds for the other symptoms. The entire staff was awesome and kind. Nix was at ease with everyone. Definitely recommend them!
