WEST CHESTER, OH – JULY 30, 2024 – AcutePet Urgent Care is excited to announce its second urgent care location in West Chester, Ohio is now open. Located near Voice of America Park, the Liberty Center, and I-75, just a few miles from the highway at 7311 Tylers Corner Drive, the location is easily accessible for all pet owners. AcutePet’s mission is to create an urgent care-only model that alleviates the increasing caseload for primary veterinarians and their staff and frees up 24/7 emergency hospitals for more urgent cases.
Founded by Dr. David Sachs and Dr. Doug Hoffman, AcutePet is making veterinary urgent care more accessible for pet owners with same-day appointments, ability booking online or walk-in, and extended hours seven days a week. AcutePet provides urgent care for pet owners and support for our veterinary partners with the kindness and compassion they deserve. AcutePet ensures the health and happiness of its people so that they can deliver high-quality care to pets.
“AcutePet was started to support the veterinary profession Dr. Hoffman and I have been committed to for over 30 years,” shares Dr. David Sachs, co-CEO of AcutePet. “We are truly invested in providing an accessible way for pet owners to get immediate care while supporting those in the profession working to provide it to so many.”
“West Chester is a great community, full of residential, professional and recreational development, and opening our second location here allows us to continue our mission to bring accessible, high-quality urgent care to pet owners,” explains Dr. Hoffman, co-CEO of AcutePet. “You never know when your pet may experience a minor injury or show symptoms of an illness. Pets are family, and they should have access to trusted veterinary urgent care that offers the convenience and peace of mind of getting needed veterinary care quickly.”
With a combined experience of over 60 years in the veterinary profession and various veterinary settings, Dr. Sachs and Dr. Hoffman are seasoned experts. They understand the care gaps and the importance of timely treatment for non-emergency yet urgent conditions for pets and pet parents.
Like human urgent care, AcutePet offers accessible pet urgent care for non-life-threatening conditions. Locations are staffed with well-trained, experienced doctors and technicians, and we provide onsite lab services, imaging and outpatient anesthetized procedures using state of the art patient monitoring equipment.
AcutePet plans to open additional locations in Bellevue, KY and Mount Pleasant, SC in the fall 2024.
