Outstanding last minute Vet service. I recommend all pet parents to try them before the big ER’s. They are go between your normal pet care and the ER. Thank you for taking care of Lexi.
I came in at 8pm on a Sunday because my dog has an open wound from a dog park that I couldn’t get to stop bleeding. All of the staff was so friendly and comforting (to me and my dog), and the doctor provided me with multiple options. He ended up having a surgery and the staff called multiple times to check in on him. Very reasonably priced for an emergency vet and I highly recommend.
I had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize my 15-year-old dog, Rusty. After calling my primary veterinarian and learning the earliest available appointment was the next morning at 9:30, I found this urgent care location through a quick Google search—and I’m so grateful I did. The entire experience was as comforting and compassionate as I could have hoped for. The staff was truly wonderful—kind, respectful, and deeply caring throughout the process. We were placed in Room 3, which was quiet, peaceful, and thoughtfully arranged to give us space and privacy. I expected urgent care pricing to be higher than my primary vet, but to my surprise, it was actually less. At such a painful moment, the way we were treated made all the difference. I’m incredibly thankful to the team here for making Rusty’s final moments peaceful and dignified.

So glad this place is so close to home! Staff is always professional, friendly, and puts me at ease addressing anything relating to my dog and his care.

Absolutely wonderful! Would highly recommend!
Went to the Summerville location first, they couldn’t see my cat. Ended up in Mt Pleasant. Glad we went but ended up having to put my cat down. The staff in in Mt P were extremely nice and very caring. Also they were very professional yet so empathetic. We were NOT expecting to leave without my kitty of 11 years but ended up making the hardest decision ever. The Dr and vet asst was very clear in explaining everything, gave us all options, answered all of our questions and allowed as much time as needed to make the decision. All the way to the end they were extremely caring and sympathetic to what we were going through. They took care of our Panther with loving care as well. I would def recommend this urgent care. However, I hope whoever has to go isn’t faced with what we were faced with. We left home with an upset, meowing kitty who I thought might have had just an infection, something easy to fix with meds, to leaving with with an empty carrier and a silent car in tears all the way home. 😢😭 (Got home and opened a beautiful card with his paw prints and a nose print with whiskers) talk about balling my eyes out. Glad we waited until we got home to see them. We’d Def go back again if we needed to.

We are deeply grateful to Dr. Yeates, Nicole, and Angelina at AcutePet Urgent Care for their compassionate care of Carraig, one of our rescue dogs. Their in-kind donations of time, expertise, and veterinary services made it possible for this deserving boy to receive much-needed bladder stone surgery and benefit from a safe, structured, and supervised long-term weight loss program. Now that he is fully healed from the cystotomy, Carraig can continue working toward his ideal weight. Reaching that goal will involve losing half his body weight over time. With Nicole, his Foster Mom, who is also a veterinary technician at the clinic, continuing to guide him, we are hopeful for all that lies ahead. We cannot thank this incredible team enough for giving Carraig the chance to heal and thrive.

Had an excellent experience taking my beloved schnoodle to AcutePet Urgent Care last week. He was battling an eye infection from allergies (and turns out a double ear infection too!). Kelly, the vet tech, and Dr. Powers had amazing bedside manner (for my very anxious dog) and were able to quickly diagnose him, make recommendations for quick and efficient treatment, and send us on our way. The clinic was clean, well appointed, and not a stressful environment like many vets can be. I was able to make an appointment for first thing in the morning (after realizing the night before that he needed to be seen sooner than later). There was plenty of parking available, the clinic was easy to find, and there are pet relief areas outside. Check-in was quick and easy. I was offered a drink (felt like a salon visit, ha!). They took excellent care of my fur baby. Grateful for this option when I’m unable to get in to see our regular vet (and the AcutePet team communicated everything with them so no gaps in his care). Pricing was approximately double per line item what we usually pay for our regular vet, but still felt reasonable (Dr. Powers and Kelly talked me through all tests and treatments we decided upon) and significantly less pricey than the emergency vet clinic we saw last year (when my other dog licked poison off a window and started scream-vomiting… bless). Overall, would absolutely recommend to others in need of quick care for their pets in non-emergency situations!

I took my pet to the AcutePet Urgent Care in Mount Pleasant on a Friday afternoon for an uncomfortable, but not life-threatening, emergency. Brittany at the front desk was kind and compassionate, making my case a priority. We ended up seeing Angelina, one of the vet technicians. She was super professional and knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything, including follow up care needs. She was considerate of my fur baby’s stress and anxiety, and his treatment was quick and thorough. The staff and care here is outstanding! Wish they could be our primary vet, but glad to know they are here for emergencies!! THANK YOU!

Awesome staff, very compassionate. Great option for urgent and emergency pet care. Affordable and very accessible! They took great care of my boy, Farley. He even grabbed a quick snooze after treatment.
