I cannot say enough about this facility. My sweet baby Dexter received care from another location, but Dr. Powers at the Mt. Pleasant location very literally saved my baby’s life! Nicole is an absolutely wonderful tech, and even the lady at the front desk was wonderful. I’ll be forever grateful for this team!

My dog fin has been to many vets since we moved to Charleston and I didn’t feel great about any of them. Hes a rescue and was raised by a college girl, so naturally hes a mess. This vet worked with fin and made him comfortable. I can’t recommend them and their team enough by far the best veterinary care I’ve received here!

Our experience with the entire staff on the night of December 22, 2025 was exceptional. The vet techs along with the vet Dr Yeats on duty took time to listen to our concerns and weigh all of our options regarding our sweet girl Bella. While it turned out it was time for her journey to end here on earth and cross that rainbow bridge we couldn’t have asked for a more caring staff to help us make that hard decision. When we decide to bring another pet into our family Acute Pet will be top on our list of veterinary clinics.

My experience at AcutePet Urgent Care was amazing!!! The staff were friendly, attentive, professional, efficient, and personable. Kelly was the vet tech that saw my Charlie (cat) and she was very kind! I also felt like their service was reasonably priced and they didn’t overcharge AT ALL. I’ll definitely come back to this practice for all my pet/vet needs. 1000000/10!!!!!

Whether you need urgent care or just a check-up – GO HERE! I was in town with my dog for a holiday weekend and ended up needing urgent medical care for her. I couldn’t be more thankful for the care, guidance, and support provided by the AcutePet team in Mt. Pleasant. They were incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable, taking the time to understand our history (of joint and arthritis issues) to help assess current challenges. If I lived in the Charleston area, this staff would immediately become my go-to team. Cannot thank them enough!!!
