Losing our sweet Pooch was one of the hardest moments of our lives, and we are forever grateful to this veterinary team for the compassion they showed us. After examining him and doing X-rays, we learned he had fluid around his heart. The vet and staff were incredibly loving, gentle, and supportive through it all. Pooch was a very good boy and almost made it to 14 years old. They gave us time and space to grieve, checked on us, and made sure we never felt alone. They even gave him a delicious last meal and treated him with so much kindness during his final moments. In our heartbreak, they gave us comfort, dignity, and peace. We will never forget the care they showed our beloved boy. 💙🐾

Due to the lack of quality care at another vet in Knightsville I had to take my poor cat here who was suffering from a UTI & Cystitis. She wasn’t given basic pain management at the previous vet so she was getting worse not better. This clinic took us same day and not only are they friendly and professional here, but super thorough and clearly wanted the best for my cat. The tech and vet were both knowledgable and explained everything in detail. I highly recommend this place. So hard to find a quality vet in Summerville.

My 15 year old beagle mix, Almond, suddenly started acting lethargic and couldn’t walk on Sunday. I found AcutePet after some frantic googling, and I would gladly use their services again. Unfortunately, Almond is now in hospice/palliative care after a mass was found in his chest. But the care he received here was outstanding, and the vet team clearly cared about making him comfortable (and giving him plenty of attention). The price was very affordable compared to a “standard” ER vet. The vet who cared for Almond and who explained his scans/diagnosis was amazing, and she followed up the next day to see how he was doing. While I hope I never need to use a vet urgent care again, I’d gladly come back here and recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby.

I brought my dog in this evening because she wasn’t walking, was not eating, and was behaving abnormally. The staff took her back immediately and provided excellent care. I highly recommend this business
